Terms of Service
These terms set out the basis on which PatternPOP supplies custom-printed floor tiles and related services. Please read them before requesting a quote or placing an order.
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PatternPOP website at patternpop.co.za and any quote, order, or supply of goods and services between you and PatternPOP ("PatternPOP", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our website, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms should be read together with our Refund & Returns Policy and our Privacy Policy, which form part of your agreement with us. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

If our registered business name, registration number, or VAT number differs from the trading name above, the details on your quote or tax invoice will reflect the correct legal entity, and those details prevail.
3. Our Products
PatternPOP supplies custom-printed, interlocking floor tiles manufactured from recycled PVC by our South African manufacturing partner. Tiles are designed for light to medium commercial applications such as retail, hospitality, exhibitions, showrooms, offices, and similar environments.
- Tiles are printed and made to order based on the design, colours, and quantities you confirm.
- Product imagery, mockups, and on-screen colours are representations only; slight variation between screens, samples, and the final printed product is normal.
- Suitability for a specific application (including expected foot traffic, sub-floor, and environmental conditions) is your responsibility to confirm. We are happy to advise, and we recommend requesting a sample kit before ordering.
4. Quotes & Pricing
- Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are valid for the period stated on the quote, or 30 days if no period is stated.
- Whether prices are inclusive or exclusive of VAT will be stated on your quote and tax invoice.
- Our standard minimum order is 50m² per print design concept. Smaller runs may be possible but can attract setup charges, which we will confirm in your quote.
- Quotes may exclude delivery, installation, and any third-party costs unless expressly stated.
- We may correct obvious pricing errors before accepting your order. If a genuine error is discovered after an order is placed, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Orders & Approval
An order is confirmed once we have issued an order confirmation and received any required payment or deposit. Before production, we provide a design mockup and order confirmation showing the design, colours, quantities, and price.
6. Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, production begins only once the required payment or deposit has cleared. We accept the payment methods indicated at checkout or on your invoice. Ownership of goods passes to you only once payment has been received in full; risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Manufacturing, Lead Times & Delivery
- Production lead times are estimates confirmed at the time of order and depend on order size, design complexity, and manufacturing capacity.
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, suppliers, or events beyond our reasonable control (see Section 12).
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any transit damage or discrepancy within 14 days, as set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.
- We recommend ordering a small surplus quantity so individual tiles can be replaced in future without re-running a full print order.
8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Because our tiles are made to order, the right to return goods is limited. Cancellations, refunds, and the handling of damaged or defective goods are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Your statutory rights under the CPA are not affected.
9. Intellectual Property
Our content
All content on our website — including the PatternPOP name, logo, designs, text, graphics, and images — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.
Artwork you supply
When you provide logos, artwork, brand assets, or design briefs, you confirm that:
- You own or have the necessary rights and licences to use that material and to have it reproduced on our products; and
- The material does not infringe the rights of any third party or breach any law.
You grant us a licence to use, reproduce, and adapt your supplied material solely for the purpose of producing your order. You indemnify us against any claim arising from material you supply (see Section 13). Any bespoke print design we create for you remains our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing, but we will not reproduce a design that incorporates your trademarks or brand assets for another customer.
10. Installation & Product Use
Unless we expressly agree to provide installation, installation is carried out by you or your appointed contractor. We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect installation, unsuitable sub-floors, or use of the product outside its intended light-to-medium commercial application. Follow any guidance we provide on preparation, handling, cleaning, and maintenance.
11. Warranties & Disclaimers
We warrant that our goods will be of good quality, free of defects, and reasonably fit for their intended purpose, as required by the CPA. Beyond the warranties implied by law, our website and any general information we provide are offered "as is" without further warranty. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the CPA:
- Our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business interruption, or installation or removal costs.
- We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including load-shedding, supplier or courier failure, natural events, or industrial action ("force majeure").
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold PatternPOP harmless against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or from any artwork, brand assets, or instructions you supply to us, including any third-party intellectual property claim relating to that material.
14. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). By using our website and placing orders, you consent to that processing.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — we will always try to resolve matters fairly and directly. You also retain the right to refer consumer disputes to the relevant ombud, the National Consumer Commission, or another competent forum under the CPA.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. We will update the "Last updated" date below whenever changes are made.
